A commission.

I was enlisted in the army; it's fun to see an officer get it.

Hehe. *snicker*

There's nothing like a horse to make you feel like a complete fool - especially if you're a little too full of yourself. ;) Horses simply aren't impressed by rank, or shiny ribbons, or anything else, for that matter.

And why is it ALWAYS mud / puddles / water when a horse throws you? *ARGH*

And we say animals are stupid....

It's called hydro-attractive aim. All horses have it.

And all horses speak French.

"MOI???"

Hydro-attractive Aim. *LOL* That needs to be in the horse encyclopedia as an official term!
Well, at least water is "softer" than rocks....

Heh. the moment you mentioned "hydro-attractive aim", I immediately thought of all those horse-jumping competition (don't know why, love to watch those), and there's almost always one rider that will end up in the water jump. At least one by competition.
Love everyone's expressions, soldiers and face-horse alike :D
:iconrummelhart:
That's why we're cartoonists -- for the expressions!

Face horses and all your deviations on the traditional animal, the in-betweens missed by even the best myth-makers have become deeply embedded into my imagination.

I love the style you use for your pen work. Just beautiful. The faces on the horses are a nice touch.

I'd love to see face-horses in your style....
